tbi: my brain
Due to my tbi, I had the right side of my cerebellum affected.
What does the cerebellum do? In short, the cerebellum is responsible for your balance, coordination, attention, and movement.
I have to rely on my phone, specifically some apps like my notes app and calendar to remember certain stuff because my long-term memory can be good but my short-term memory isn't. I do have to put a lot of effort in retaining something due to my tbi. If I forget I did something or if someone told me something, I apologize in advance, I am trying to put in the effort to remember things!
The brain is interesting because it is responsible for a lot of things like processing colors, problem solving, thinking, learning, speech formation, emotional processing, etc. There's parts of your brain that are in charge of certain things, like as mentioned the cerebellum is responsible for what I mentioned.
